Despite the fact that Darth Maul and Dante had not aligned with each other since WWE '12, the two remain employed to the M4G-Nation roster, signalling a potential reunion between the two.
On June 16, 2012, Dante and Darth Maul made their tag team debut by taking part in a 4 man tag tournament set to determine a top contending team for the Tag Team Championship, owned by Team Old School at the time. They beat the tag team of Tony Hawk and Piccolo, and advanced on to the final round and faced Team Excitement in a winning effort. Thus, they were able to challenge Ash Ketchum and Brock for the Tag Team Division's top prize at the M4G-Nation's inaugural Pay-Per-View - Galactic Throwdown. At the PPV's kickoff show, the Big Red Machines were incapable of claiming the title belts from the Pokemon duo.
Afterwards, Dante and Darth Maul vied for the Tag Team Championship once more, this time in the TMN Tag Team Tourney - a tournament of a grander scale. However, they could not replicate the success of their previous championship run, suffering elimination at the hands of Blue Crush at the beginning round. Big Red Machines faded from the tag team scene and temporarily disbanded when Dante was released from the M4G-Nation. Months later, Dante reemerged to the M4G-Nation roster, although no attempt was made to unify himself and Darth Maul as a tandem.
- Should the theory that the Big Red Machines are still active due to both men being signed to the roster be correct, then the tag team is distinctive for being the oldest tag team active within the roster.
